Anna requested a new hat since the weather is getting colder. Last year I made her the fishy hat which was a big hit so I found this pattern on ravelry and she loves it. She even wore it to the grocery store this afternoon even though it wasn’t really cool enough to warrant a hat. When we were checking out the bagger told her that she liked her hat and Anna replied, “my mommy made it”. “sigh” I do love this child. She is a free spirit and quite challenging at times, but she does appreciate funky handmade goodies.Pattern: Woolly Owl Hat by Kat Goldin Yarn: misc. wool from stash, main body of hat is a bamboo wool It was a really great pattern to crochet. From start to finish it only took me a couple of evenings to complete. I do love projects that are fun, instant, gratification.
